Matteo Ricci marble sculpture project in progress in China.
​
The marble sculpture project dedicated to Matteo Ricci is currently underway in China, synthesizing classical sculptural principles with a contemporary conceptual approach.
The work, enriched by engraved Chinese calligraphy, embodies the spirit of dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures that characterized Matteo Ricci’s mission. Completion is expected in July 2025. Further details and images will be shared soon.
